Mavrikos, in the main square, is one of the oldest restaurant in Lindos and still run by the same family. The interior is of a traditional Greek style and the food is of the best in Lindos. The pricing is fair and sensible and the menu offers some interesting alternatives to other restaurants. If you fancy splashing out I can thoroughly recommend eating mezze style here. In 2008 three of us shared seven dishes, three of them vegetarian, all priced between €6.50 and €9.90 - the food was excellent and the bill, including garlic bread and rustic bread, one beer and wine came to €86.50. In 2009 we again ate some wonderful dishes - my favourite was kalimari in a beetroot and saffron sauce.
