What do things cost?

Here is a rough guide as of May 2009

BREAKFAST

At the Skala on the Pallas Beach the Fresh OJ is €3.50 and the English Breakfast is €6.50 (2 x eggs, 1 x sausage, 1 x bacon, 1 x hash brown, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes and 2 x toast with marmelade and possibly a coffee).
At Giorgos in the village the English is €5.50 and a Veggie choice (stipulating 1 x egg, beans, mushrooms and toast) is €4.50 and coffee is €2.50.

LUNCH

We tend to eat lunch at the Skala on the Pallas Beach.
Garlic Pitta €1.20. Tzatziki €2.90. Kalamari €8.90. Pizza €6.50 (1/2 pizza €4.50).Special Hummus €7.50. Spaghetti €6.50. Fries €2.80. Tomato & Cucumber salad €2.90. Mushroom Tart €6.50. Omelettes €5.50 to €8.50.
Lunch specials - fish/pastichio, lamb/beef meals - €6.50 to €9.00.
1 Litre Carafe wine €9.50. 1/2 Litre carafe wine €6.50. Coca Cola €2.00. Draft Beer €3.50. Bottle Beer €3.00. Frappe €2.00. Water 500ml €1.00. Water 1 Litre €1.80.

DINNER

Dinner varies enormously depending on where you eat.
Tzatziki €4.90. Garlic Bread €2.00. Special Saganaki starter €7.50.
veggie Lasagne €11. Chicken Meal €12. Pork meal €14. Beef Meal €16.00. Steaks €20.00.
Fish meals from €12.00 to a fortune. A series of Mezze dishes between €7 & €10 each.
Bottle Beer €4.00. Bottle of wine €18 to €20.

A meal for 4 with wine will vary from €60 to €100. A posher meal for two will cost €60.00 odd.
