Socrates - known as "Sox" bar is another of the oldest bars in Lindos. Socrates is one of the village's most charismatic characters. Often seen gently passing along the Pallas beach to spend time sunning on the rocks beyond or drinking coffee with friends at a beach restaurant.



He is truly a part of the legend that is Lindos. I have yet to see him ride off into the sunset on his "Harley" but it would be a good sight. Here he is as a young dancer - a portrait which hangs in the bar...
